Why won’t my video play?
A recording can stop before it finishes saving, for example when a battery dies or an app crashes. The pictures may still be there, but the player’s guide to finding them can be missing.
We rebuild that guide
We look for the parts that survived and put them into a new playable file. If we need a clue about how your device records, we’ll ask for a working video made with the same settings.
Your files stay yours
Repair happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and your original is never changed.
Some damage can’t be undone
We can’t bring back footage that was never saved. This early version handles only some MP4 recordings, and audio recovery is limited. We check the result before offering a download; if a file isn’t supported, we’ll tell you.

Compatibility
H.264 video only. A missing index requires a matching constant-rate, video-only reference. AAC audio can be recovered only when the original index survives. HEVC, fragmented MP4, interlaced video and some frame-order patterns are unsupported.
